
Wouter Ryckbosch
Wouter Ryckbosch studied history at Ghent University, and completed his PhD in 2012 at the University of Antwerp on the effect of consumer change on social inequality in eighteenth-century Flanders. As a visiting scholar he stayed at the Universities of Cambridge and Utrecht, and at Bocconi University in Milan. He is an editor for the Low Countries Journal of Social and Economic History (TSEG). At the Vrije Universiteit Brussel he teaches early modern history, and conducts research into different aspects of social inequality, consumer culture and property in this period.
