Movies That Matter A film series by BIRMM & BRISPO
BIRMM and BRISPO warmly invite you to Movies That Matter, a joint film series that brings together critical cinema and collective discussion on race, class, and imperialism. With this series, we aim to create a space where film becomes a starting point for reflection and dialogue.
Through carefully selected works from different historical and geopolitical contexts, Movies That Matter explores how cinema can illuminate structures of inequality, resistance, and social transformation. Each screening is followed by an open moment of exchange, encouraging participants to engage critically and collectively with the themes raised on screen.
