Biography
Lena Imeraj is the coordinator of the Brussels Centre for Urban Studies as well as a postdoctoral researcher of the Cosmopolis Centre for Urban Research, and the Brussels Institute for Social and Population Studies (BRISPO), at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
Her research interests are residential segregation and urban geographies, in relation to ethnicity/ethnic diversity, migration/mobility and socioeconomic inequalities. She is specialised in quantitative methodologies and advanced statistical methods. She is/was involved in several international and interdisciplinary projects, such as ResSegr (JPI Urban Europe), Cities and Newcomers (VUB Interdisciplinary Research Programme), Bruxodus (INNOVIRIS), BRUTUS (VUB-Foundation) and AirBRU (INNOVIRIS).
