Laura Maria Lingenti

Laura, who has a background in Cognitive and Clinical Neuroscience, specialised in Psychopathology Research (Maastricht University), is a PhD candidate in Clinical Psychology (VUB) whose research explores the intersections of mental health, gender diversity, and critical theory. They received the Innoviris Brussels Applied PhD research grant for their project "POWER: A Pilot Study of Well-being and Resilience-strengthening Training for Gender-diverse Persons", which investigates participatory and context-sensitive approaches to mental health support for queer persons in Brussels.
