Koen Kerremans

Koen Kerremans is professor of terminology and translation technology within the Department of Linguistics and Literary Studies (LIST) of the Faculty of Languages and Humanities. His primary research interests lie in the study of terminology and specialised language, on the one hand, and the use of digital translation resources and tools in professional and educational settings, on the other hand. One of his research lines focuses on studying technological (translation) solutions to bridge linguistic barriers during multilingual service encounters between public service providers and service users, focusing primarily on healthcare and asylum reception settings.
