Hua Wang
Biography
Hua WANG is a Ph.D. candidate in Translation studies at Vrije Universiteit Brussel(VUB). She is a member of the Centre for Literary and Intermedial Crossings (CLIC) and the Centre for Literature in Translation (CLIV, VUB/UGent). Her main research interests include cultural transfer, gender differences and paratexs in translation, especially related to translated works of women. Her Ph.D. research focuses on exploring the changing images of the Chinese writer, Can Xue, from the perspective of paratext.
