Rose Miranda is a BSc Nursing graduate from the Philippines, who also has an Honours BSc in Health Science and a Research MSc in Global Health degrees from VU University Amsterdam. She also had a few years of working experience as a nursing aid in the Netherlands. Through the Marie Skłodowska Curie-funded Interdisciplinary Network for Dementia Using Current Technology (INDUCT), Rose joined the End-of-Life Care Research Group (VUB and UGent) in October 2016. In her PhD research, Rose primarily aims to evaluate a palliative care programme as a complex health technology for people with dementia living in nursing homes. In the future, she aims to continue her research on palliative care and dementia with respect to older people with ethnic minority background in Europe.
