Lena Imeraj is the coordinator of the Brussels Centre for Urban Studies as well as a postdoctoral researcher of the Cosmopolis Centre for Urban Research and Interface Demography at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
Her research interests are residential segregation and urban geographies, in relation to ethnicity/ethnic diversity, migration/mobility and socioeconomic inequalities. She is specialised in quantitative methodologies and advanced statistical methods. She is/was involved in several international and interdisciplinary projects, such as ResSegr (JPI Urban Europe), Cities and Newcomers (VUB Interdisciplinary Research Programme), Bruxodus (INNOVIRIS), BRUTUS (VUB-Foundation) and AirBRU (INNOVIRIS).
