Filip Van Droogenbroeck is a postdoctoral researcher at the Sociology department. He obtained his master in sociology at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. He joined the TOR research group in February 2010 where he obtained his PhD in Sociology with a dissertation on the end of career and mental health of teachers. Filip is currently involved in large scale public opinion research, sociology of youth, sociology of education, educational policy, peace education research and coordinates projects such as the 'Teaching and Learning International Survey (TALIS 2018 Flanders)' and the 'Holocaust Police and Human rights project.'. His broader interests are in consciousness and science philosophy with a focus on the mind-body problem. Apart from his research, he teaches statistics for the social sciences.
